A major factor of
this project was to help innocent achieve their carbon neutral
requirements with the new production facility. Once fully
operational the factory will produce 300m litres of juices and
smoothies each year.

Project Details
eco-i were appointed to design, supply and commission a HVAC control system
for 12no air handling units and 85No fan coil units which were to be connected to a
site wide smart integrated control system which links all the factories HVAC, power,
refrigeration, productions and despatch into one platform. Construction of the
zero carbon factory started during Brexit and construction continued during the
pandemic. eco-i worked closely with the clients team to ensure the high specification
was met throughout the project and to overcome all the challenges that were faced
during brexit and covid. eco-i carried out pre despatch commissioning of the control
panels including full client acceptance test.

Facility Management Benefits
Each control panel has local point access using local dongles in the controllers.
This provides the maintenance team local point access whilst at each AHU. Each
controller is provided with embedded graphics which allow simple adjustments to
temperature and fan speeds. The web graphics were developed to allow the site
team to change the functions of the AHUs via graphic pages.
