Project Details
Eco-i provided a BEMS to control & monitor the buildings HVAC systems including
Class Vent Units, Natural Ventilation and ASHP central plant. The building is provided
with IP networks throughout to provide the latest communications for future proofing
the system. Eco-I also provided a metering system to monitor all the meters across
the site. The metering system provides the usage information to the building
manager and exports to the DoE energy team. The building is provided with various
form 1 ELV BEMS panel within the plantrooms and roof. The power to the plant is
provided by a dedicated distribution board designed and provided by eco-i.

Facility Management Benefits
The BEMS server head end software provides full integration to all connected
systems and offers the building operator full reporting of the operating status of
all systems. The BEMS is tailored to provide two-way graphics navigation along
with features such as weekly reports and alarm management via email. The EMS
is provided with dashboard displays for the building operator to view and manage
their energy usage. The BMS and EMS exports all the buildings information to the
school’s energy consultant.
